Ardew Wood Products Ltd. is dedicated to maintaining environmentally responsible operations, and ensuring a sustainably managed forest.  Ardew takes pride in utilizing the forest resources to the best of our ability, while continuing to minimize the impact of our operations on the environment.

Our Company and its employees are committed to the following:

• Continually improving our environmental and SFM performance by setting and reviewing environmental and SFM objectives and targets.

• Preventing pollution and minimizing environmental impact on all operations.

• Meeting or exceeding all applicable environmental legislation, regulations, policies and other requirements to which the organization subscribes.

• Communicating, educating and promoting awareness regarding our environmental and sustainable forest management policy to employees, contractors, customers, local communities and other stakeholders.

• Provide First nations the opportunity for participation in sustainable forest management while respecting their aboriginal and treaty rights.

• Providing for public participation into sustainable forest management.

• Provide conditions and safeguards for the health and safety of our workers and the public within our operations.

• Improve our knowledge about the forest and SFM and monitor these advances in SFM science and technology and incorporate them where applicable.
