Covering more than one million hectares, the Merritt Timber Supply Area (Merritt TSA) in the Southern Interior Forest Region incorporates the extensive uplands of the Thompson Nicola Plateaus. The Merritt TSA’s current Annual Allowable Cut is in excess of 1.8 million cubic metres.

Through extensive resource planning and environmental assessment,  the company’s forest professionals ensure each woodlands site they manage is carefully harvested, reforested, tended and monitored to free growing. Values that are incorporated into Ardew's Forest Stewardship Plan include range, recreation, cultural, wildlife, water, soils and visual aspects which will ensure healthy productive forests for future generations. The long-term commitment to high-level resource stewardship is to meet or exceed the Forest and Range Practices Act of British Columbia
