Ardew Wood Products’ future as a manufacturer of consistently high quality wood products depends upon a reliable and renewable timber supply.

Covering more than one million hectares, the Merritt Timber Supply Area (T.S.A) in the Kamloops Forest Region incorporates the extensive uplands of the Thompson Nicola Plateaus.  The Merritt TSA’s current Annual Allowable Cut is in excess of 1.5 million cubic meters.  

Through extensive resource planning and environmental assessment, the company’s professional foresters ensure each woodlands site they manage is carefully harvested, completely reforested, tended and monitored to free growing.  All values in the forest including range, recreation, cultural, wildlife, water, soils and visual aspects are considered and incorporated in Ardew’s forest management plans to provide healthy productive forests for future generations.
